To Cook or NOT to Cook

September 23, 2013 By beautiful mama. 1 Comment

I’ve recently come across a company called LazyMeal that is an online order service that connects you with local restaurants for fast delivery of fresh food. It has come in handy when the question of the day is, ‘To cook or not to cook?’ I know you hear me on this. Sometimes it’s just nice to have someone else do the cooking.

So far, we’ve used their service twice. We ordered from Pad Thai, a yummy and reasonably priced Thai restaurant. Our meal included Chicken Cashew Nut, Pineapple Fried Rice and Mixed Seasonal Vegetables for a total of $33.85 including delivery. It was really tasty, not oily or heavy and there were some leftovers for lunch the next day.

We also ordered from Sun Garden which offers one of the best versions of ‘Canadianized’ Chinese food in town. When our dinner for two and Won Ton soup arrived we were surprised at the healthy portion size and actually had two more meals the next day. It was good value for $30.00. The Won Ton Soup was the best I’ve had in a long time. Unfortunately, I didn’t take any photos of our meals as we were too busy digging in!

Sometimes there’s nothing better that staying in on a rainy day and enjoying a meal that I don’t have to cook.

When you’re asking yourself if you should cook or not, don’t feel guilty about feeling lazy about it, just try LazyMeal, it really is simple to use their website and the service, fast and convenient. And, you can order in advance!

If you want to try LazyMeal, just click on the link in the right hand side and start browsing their growing list of menus. It will alert them that I sent you. It’s a living!

The food was definitely yummy. Glad it was my idea each time we ordered.
