GIVEAWAY! Making a Christmas video with your littles is easy with the OneDay App!

December 17, 2014 By beautiful mama. 2 Comments

OLM and OneDay app video

My son will *never be a star.

In my sleep deprived brain, I had imagined that my son would one day be a star. I mean, just look at those beautiful, blonde curly locks. He’s quite the little character too. He’s funny and bright, but very strong-willed (which will serve him well in the future if we’re lucky) and with a wild imagination that probably comes from all the cockamamie stories his dad and I tell him. We have to entertain ourselves too, am I right?

Sadly, he really doesn’t give a stuff about hamming it in front of the camera. The few auditions we went to were a bust because he just wasn’t interested in taking orders. So anytime he even looks in the direction of the lens is a win for me. But I don’t mind, not really. I shudder to think of what might happen should he grow up to be rich and famous, like some young celebrities we know from Canada who can’t seem to stay out of trouble, get tatted up and misbehave in any way possible. And I don’t want to be a pageant mom. *shudder*

Needless to say, it wasn’t easy to get him to ‘perform’ for me and this video we did together with the OneDay app. (link not working, so sorry) Thankfully, the peeps at OneDay know that corralling little ones to do anything can be near impossible so they make the process simple for all concerned. We got through it.

The video you see below is a compilation of questions I asked him. The app allows you to stop and start so you can make sure to keep focus. And if you need to take a break between questions you can.

Whenever I see the end of this video I can’t help but giggle. Clearly our son is still a believer and it doesn’t take much to get him excited. Oh to be a kid again without the worries and stress in GrownUp Land. The power of his belief in the magic of Santa and Christmas is just so fun for us to watch.

Do you want to make videos with your little ones?

Good luck, have fun and PLEASE SHARE your newly created treasures with your friends and ME!
