Happy Father’s Day to our Everyday Superhero
The photo above is our sweet Father’s Day Interview gift that OLM and I worked on together. I found it through a lovely blog Mama Papa Bubba which always has great craft ideas for kids.
When I saw this we weren’t at home so I just asked OLM the questions and intended on finishing the project when we got home. Of course I promptly forgot most of his answers as I’m still suffering from baby brain. It appears my boy has a mind like a steel trap as he was able to answer the questions again exactly as before. At least that’s what I remember.
I love that this little craft project is so personal and hopefully it will bring a tear to Daddy’s eyes. Not that I want him to cry, not really, but gifts from the heart are what matter the most, especially on Father’s Day.
And with the uncertainty around money lately (BC Teacher’s have been on job action and are now locked out) I’m trying to stay out of the shops. It helps me focus on what matters most so it’s all good. Thanks Jen over at Mama Papa Bubba for the great idea!
It’s going to be a lovely day!
We plan to let Daddy sleep in, and even as I write this at 7.57 am OLM is having a sleep in I think. Maybe I had better check in on him as is very possible that if he’s anything like I was at his age he may have decided to take a walk up the street! Just kidding, sort of. We are both fiercely independent and sometimes it gets us in trouble.
