Apparently my mom does and I suppose that’s where I got it from.

This installment in the series Oh Snap(shots)! is all about mom. It was her 60th birthday party and so we thought it appropriate to make a big deal of it. That’s nice, right?

Smoke off the Candles

Why do we cry when we’re happy? I’ve never understood that. I think it’s because we are so overwhelmed by emotion that it’s confusing. Or maybe the smoke off all those candles was making her eyes water.

What was surprising to me was just how much heat 60 candles can generate. We had to ask the restaurant to open the doors it was so freakin hot. And it was November.

Just kidding ma.
