My Poor OLD eyes
Lately it seems my eyesight is getting worse. It’s gotten to the point that I need reading glasses all the time. And while you might scoff and say, ‘Lee-Anne I’ve been wearing glasses for years, why are you complaining?!” I haven’t needed to wear glasses until about a year ago. I’m in my mid to late 40’s and have been proud to say I haven’t needed them!
Sigh. Aside from the reflection I see in the mirror everyday, it’s yet another sign that I’m getting older. I suppose I should just accept it right? I mean, it could be a whole lot worse.
At least I have my eyesight.
There are many people, including way too many kids, that have either poor vision or have lost their eyesight and it is entirely preventable. According to the World Health Organization, 285 million people are visually impaired worldwide, but of that number 80% of these impairments can be avoided or cured.
So what can you do?

Thanks for reading. I was given a pair of eyeglasses as compensation for participating in this challenge which is awesome because I’m heading to the optometrist soon for a prescription update. Thanks Clearly Contacts!
