One of the issues we struggle with most in our home is how much technology we expose our son to, especially when it comes to time in front of the TV. Even though our little guy is not quite three, there are a lot of times when the TV is on. Sometimes it’s just easier to let our son watch his favourite programs to keep him occupied as it allows us to unwind after the 24/7 grind that is parenthood.
Love of Learning Space
Love of Learning Space understands it can be challenging for parents to keep their kids engaged in new and exciting ways. Their programs are interactive and personalized, allowing parents to share their specific concerns and come up with solutions for their child’s discovery and individual learning process.
They say…
Through a series of workshops and interest groups held at the Centre, we hope to engage children’s and families’ active participation in discovering children’s manifest talents, and the optimal ways of activating their unlimited potentials. It is our duty, responsibility and passion to raise the “whole child”.’
I say…
My mind is at peace knowing that we don’t have to do it all ourselves and we takeaway beautiful, amazing art created by our little monkey (OLM).
Charity Auction
In support of The BC Children’s Hospital, Love of Learning Space is bringing you ‘The Art of Love’, an event that celebrates making a difference through children’s art.
Children’s art work will be auctioned during the event, and the funds raised will be donated to the BCCHF. Along with the auction there will be a raffle, a cooking demo, family art activity, yummy desserts, and free consultation on education.
Help fulfill the mission of building community at LOLS by joining this art gallery style event.
