OLM was so excited for Halloween this year. He was up at 4am, no lie, bursting with dreams of candy, candy candy. And, itching to get his Mime on. Unfortunately we didn’t practice the makeup aspect of the costume until this morning, so it didn’t really go as planned. You know, things always look better in your head, am I right?
So the mime makeup turned out ok, but had I played around with it I would have a better idea of how to apply and make it last through the day. It should be interesting to see how our little man, and Daddy for that matter look after a day of school. If I can, I’ll post photos later if they’re not too horrific.
I’ll also become a mime for Halloween this year so I’ll keep you posted on that too. Most likely though, you will find that update on Facebook or Instagram as I’ve not been publishing here at all lately.
Our Halloween has not promised to be a quiet one this year despite the costume choices. We’ve got over 80 kids in our building participating in the trick or treating so it’s bound to be mayhem then. And our little mime has taken to speaking in a really odd French accent too which is kind of funny. And Paige will be a little devil, which is pretty fitting at times.
Good luck at work today, oh Serious One. I hope you don’t scare too many kids at the assembly! Just kidding, you look cute.
