Happy Thursday!
How’s the week been so far? Are the kids settling into the new school routine? How’re your mornings going?
Today was better but they’ve been a struggle so far. It’s been more difficult than I imagined! Aside from the whole upheaval of our daily routine or lack there of, apparently the weather change here in Vancouver hasn’t affected our little kindergartener’s choice of wardrobe.
Shorts and sleeveless shirts just don’t cut it on the back of the bike, my sweet child. (I take comfort in the fact that the stubbornness will serve him well in the future.)
We recently bought a gorgeous Pedego Stretch to make the journey to our son’s school more fun (and if you didn’t know we got the bike in a gorgeous olive-green colour) but even that hasn’t been enough. I guess I need to give it a few more weeks for us all to settle in.
Anyway, I’m not here to complain. Today marks the second day that OLM is in school for the entire day! I think I’m going to like this new routine. More time to focus here on the blog and grab some more paying gigs that will shoe our growing kid.
Weekend Links: Vancouver Area Events
We’ve got quite a few things going on this weekend, including celebrating our seventh anniversary! Woot! We made it!
I’m hoping we can squeeze it all in and still enjoy a quiet dinner and movie together too. We’ll see. If you decide to attend any of these events I’d love to hear about it. But you’re not invited to the anniversary celebration, just in case you were wondering.
